TAKE THE PLEDGE
Spirit Day is two days away. Have you pledged to go purple?
LGBTQ youth disproportionately face bullying and harassment because of their identities. And for a third year in a row, state legislatures broke records for the most anti-LGBTQ bills proposed, most of which target transgender youth for being who they are.
Will you join millions and go purple on October 17? Sign the Spirit Day Pledge today.
Your support comes at a crucial time when:
A 96% supermajority of non-LGBTQ Americans agree that schools should be a safe and accepting place for all youth.
68% of LGBTQ+ students felt unsafe at school because of their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression.
82% of LGBTQ young people said that the topic of support and acceptance would be helpful for the people in their lives to know more about.
68% of LGBTQ+ students felt unsafe at school because of their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression.
We need to show our youth that they are not alone. Add your name to the pledge today to vow that you will do your part to help end bullying.
P.S. Double your support for LGBTQ youth by making a gift in honor of Spirit Day! For a limited time, GLAAD board member and activist Frankie Grande will match your donation dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000!
