LGBTQ youth disproportionately face bullying and harassment because of their identities. And for a third year in a row, state legislatures broke records for the most anti-LGBTQ bills proposed, most of which target transgender youth for being who they are.

A 96% supermajority of non-LGBTQ Americans agree that schools should be a safe and accepting place for all youth.

68% of LGBTQ+ students felt unsafe at school because of their sexual orientation, gender identity and/or gender expression.

82% of LGBTQ young people said that the topic of support and acceptance would be helpful for the people in their lives to know more about.
