Earlier this year, Garlin and I put forth a budget that would put Michigan back on the road to opportunity.

It would fix the damn roads, invest in our public schools, create good-paying jobs, and clean up our drinking water. Republicans in Lansing are pushing a budget that would do the opposite -- which is why I'm reaching out to you.

As I'm meeting with business officials, labor leaders, members of the Michigan State Legislature, and policy analysts about this budget, I want to make sure your issues and values are reflected in our state's budget.
