Gwinnett County Public Schools is planning to change its sex education program, the process which we were able to delay a couple of years ago through our public review input.
This month until October 31st, Gwinnett parents and all citizens can participate in a new public review to let GCPS know which sex education program they support. Thankfully, they are allowing us to look at Choosing the Best, the abstinence program this time around.
There are very grave concerns with all of the other sex education programs they are considering! They teach what Planned Parenthood wants the students to learn. In addition, the school system has designed the public review as a very tedious process.
Below (click here) is a Guide that will make the process significantly easier and much less time consuming. Using the Guide, it will take less than 1 hour to complete the survey.
We need as many people as possible to participate! Last time we had over 500 people participate and it made a difference!
The Guide is here. It explains each program being considered and how to fill out the survey. When you first see the Guide, it may seem like a lot, but once you start, you will find it goes fast! And you will have a very good understanding of the issue.
Thank you for completing the guide to help Gwinnett County students to have the healthiest sexuality education program.
