Hi,

On Sunday, we’re thanking all the mothers of the world.

Mothers do it all — raising and educating their children, farming and feeding their families, providing wisdom and guidance to their communities — often sacrificing their own well-being to care for others out of love.

Our reforestation program, The Canopy Project, supports and empowers women in at-risk communities every day, providing food, skills and products for market. The Canopy Project involves women in the planning and leadership process of tree planting, giving mothers the tools to be responsible stewards of their habitats, while teaching their kids by example.

Plant trees as a gift to your mother and to countless mothers around the world! $1 plants 1 tree. <[link removed]>

Our current work in Madagascar places mothers at the forefront of the tree planting program. In the villages near our planting sites, local partner organizations have banded together scores of farming families to tend to growing trees and to ensure that crops from those trees nourish the community.

Donate to plant trees and to help mothers provide for their loved ones. <[link removed]>

The mothers in Madagascar, and in all of our planting locations, need your help. Your donation this Mother’s Day supports our reforestation efforts and helps women around the world nurture, educate and provide for their families and communities. Please help us by giving the gift of trees.

Empowering women in their communities and closing the economic gender gap is central to achieving the U.N’s 2030 Agenda for Economic Development, and creating a future that’s safe and equitable for all.
