U.S. Embassy Urges Americans to Leave Lebanon
New York Post: The US Embassy in Beirut is calling on Americans to leave Lebanon as soon as possible as the war between Israel and Hezbollah intensifies. “US citizens in Lebanon are strongly encouraged to depart now,” the embassy said in a notice to citizens on Monday. “US citizens who choose not to depart at this time should prepare contingency plans should the situation deteriorate further.” Just 1,100 of the estimated 86,000 Americans who live in Lebanon have fled the nation so far, with the US setting aside thousands of seats on flights out of Lebanon since Sept. 27, according to the State Department ( New York Post). Townhall: The warning came as Iranian backed Hezbollah fired a number of missiles at highly populated civilian areas in Israel, including Tel Aviv ( Townhall).

Kamala Harris Dropped in National Polls After Media Blitz
Townhall: Kamala Harris’ media tour was a nightmare. It got torpedoed by two natural disasters, Joe Biden soaking up her media time and coming off (again) as just an all-around awkward person. Her town hall on Univision was exposed as a fraud, with the event packed with audience members who were Kamala supporters despite the event being marketed as an undecided voter forum. Without a script, Kamala can’t maneuver or act normal. Voters aren’t stupid—she hasn’t said a single thing of substance regarding the inflation rate that’s been killing working families. No one cares about protecting democracy if you’re struggling to keep the lights on, and the vice president has yet to articulate a compelling statement about how she’d be different than Joe Biden ( Townhall). Trump War Room: Are Biden and Kamala’s policies helping or hurting your family? HELPING: 25%. HURTING: 45%. Did Trump’s policies help or hurt your family? HELPED: 44%. HURT: 31% ( X). Ryan James Girdusky: Kamala Harris did a media blitz in the last three weeks and dropped by 4-5 points in two national polls. Now you know why they tried to keep her in the basement ( X).

Border Patrol Union Endorses Donald Trump
Fox News: The official union of the U.S. border patrol announced its full support of former President Trump during a rally in Prescott Valley, Arizona on Sunday. During the rally, Trump told the crowd that he was “honored to receive… the endorsement” of the union of the entire union of the border patrol agents, the National Border Patrol Council. “It’s a great honor,” Trump said. “They said it was unanimous. Thousands of people…” The union president told the crowd they have a choice to make this November. He said the chaos can continue, and criminal cartels can continue to be allowed to control the border which will allow for drugs and fentanyl to filter into the U.S., or voters can put an end to the chaos ( Fox News). Axios: Former President Trump said Sunday he’d hire 10,000 more border patrol agents and give them a $10,000 retention and signing bonus if he’s re-elected in November. Trump has made the U.S.-Mexico border a key focus of his 2024 campaign and both he and Vice President Kamala Harris have pledged to impose some of the most restrictive immigration, asylum and border policies in decades. Trump said at the Prescott Valley, Ariz., rally he “will be asking Congress immediately to approve a 10% raise” for all agents if he wins the election ( Axios).

Bill Clinton Claims Lakin Riley Would Be Alive With Better Border Security
Townhall: Former President Bill Clinton said in remarks this week that Laken Riley, the 22-year-old Georgia college student who was allegedly murdered by an illegal alien would still be alive if the southern border were secure. “You got a case in Georgia not very long ago. They made an ad about it. A young woman who’d been killed by an immigrant. Yeah, well, if they’d all been properly vetted that probably wouldn’t have happened,” Clinton said, before adding that we need immigrants for labor ( Townhall). Trump War Room: Bill Clinton says Laken Riley’s death “probably wouldn’t have happened” if Kamala did her job at the border, continues on to imply that we need illegal immigrants for cheap labor. He was supposed to be campaigning FOR Kamala. YIKES ( X). Guy Benson: He gets some credit for at least acknowledging that Riley was murdered, & he’s right that her accused killer, an illegal immigrant, wasn’t properly vetted by the Biden-Harris admin ( X).

Socialist Bernie Sanders Campaigns for Kamala Harris as She Attempts to Distance Herself From Radicals
Daily Wire: Vice President Kamala Harris is pulling out all the stops as Election Day fast approaches, first turning to former President Barack Obama, and now enlisting socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders to stump for her. Sanders, who advocates for what he calls “Democratic Socialism” and was apparently kicked out of a hippie commune for being too lazy, hit up Nevada and Wisconsin to promote Harris. Ironically, the VP is simultaneously trying to distance herself from her radical positions and present as a moderate this cycle… Though Sanders is certainly far-Left, Harris in 2019 was rated even further Left than Sanders in the Senate. Harris, in fact, was voted the “most liberal” member of the Senate. Notably, Harris co-sponsored Sanders’ “Medicare for All” bill when she served in the Senate, and promoted the plan when she ran for president in 2020. The far-Left legislation would have cost taxpayers $32 trillion over ten years and effectively eliminated private health insurance ( Daily Wire).

Kamala Haris on Columbus Day: "European explorers ushered in a wave of devastation, violence, stealing land, and widespread disease"
Fox News: Vice President Kamala Harris declared in 2021 that the U.S. “must not shy away” from its “shameful past” of European explorers who she said ushered “in a wave of devastation for tribal nations,” unearthed remarks show. Her comments came one day after the nation celebrated Columbus Day that year, and when President Biden became the first president to formally recognize Indigenous Peoples’ Day on the same holiday. Democratic President Franklin Delano Roosevelt signed a proclamation in 1934 making Columbus Day a national holiday following lobbying from the Italian American and Catholic communities ( Fox News). End Wokeness: Kamala Harris on Columbus Day: “European explorers ushered in a wave of devastation, violence, stealing land, and widespread disease” ( X). Trump War Room: Happy Columbus Day! Radical left Marxist Kamala Harris thinks that this holiday celebrating the discovery of the Americas and the birth of western civilization is a bad thing ( X).

Kamala Harris Caught Plagiarizing 2009 Book
Fox News: Vice President Harris is being accused of plagiarizing from several sources in her 2009 book on policing that was released while she was district attorney of San Francisco. The book, “Smart on Crime: A Career Prosecutor’s Plan to Make Us Safer,” was co-authored with Joan O’C Hamilton. The so-called “plagiarism hunter,” Austrian professor Stefan Weber, found 27 times that Harris, the 2024 Democrat nominee for president, and her co-author allegedly committed some form of plagiarism. He found that “24 fragments are plagiarism from other authors, and 3 fragments are self-plagiarism from a work written with a co-author” ( Fox News). Chris Rufo: Somebody hang this in the Louvre. The New York Times claims that I “seized on” Kamala Harris’s serial plagiarism. Admits later in the story that it is, in fact, plagiarism. And then calls noticing that fact “racist” ( X).

Russian City to Erect Life-Size Statue of Joseph Stalin
Politico: Joseph Stalin, the Soviet dictator responsible for millions of deaths in Central and Eastern Europe, will be commemorated with a new life-size statue to be unveiled in Russia. “The decision was prompted by requests from the public. There was a demand,” the governor of the northwestern Vologda region, Georgy Filimonov, wrote in his announcement. The statue will be installed near a museum in Vologda, where Stalin lived in exile from December 1911 to February 1912. Stalin’s totalitarian rule from 1924 until his death in 1953 was a time of mass political repression, ethnic cleansing, and famine in the Soviet Union that killed millions of Soviet citizens ( Politico). National Review: Three years after his death, Stalin’s legacy was denounced by his second successor Nikita Khrushchev…The Russian statesman also announced plans to unveil a statue for Ivan the Terrible, who killed tens of thousands of people as the infamous tsar of Russia during the 16th century. Russia legitimized Stalin’s crimes by removing at least two monuments honoring the memory of his victims from Russian-controlled Ukrainian territories in July. One monument was dedicated to the victims of Stalin’s Great Purge, and the other was dedicated to the victims of the Holodomor — the Soviet-made famine that killed between 3.5 and 7 million people from 1932 to 1933 ( National Review).

Confidence in Media Continues to Decline
Gallup: Americans continue to register record-low trust in the mass media, with 31% expressing a “great deal” or “fair amount” of confidence in the media to report the news “fully, accurately and fairly,” similar to last year’s 32%. Americans’ trust in the media — such as newspapers, television and radio — first fell to 32% in 2016 and did so again last year. For the third consecutive year, more U.S. adults have no trust at all in the media (36%) than trust it a great deal or fair amount. Another 33% of Americans express “not very much” confidence ( Gallup). Hugh Hewitt: This is a huge red light warning and blaring siren for legacy media to change what they are doing, whatever it is. It has failed. It can fail even faster and fall further. So call in Bain or McKinsey and commit to the overhaul. In five years, maybe sooner, there will be no one left to lie to ( X).

Heinz Called “Racist” After Featuring Two New Ads
Townhall: Ketchup is now cancelled. Black Lives Matter activists are accusing Heinz of publishing a pair of “racist” ads: one apparently omitting the appearance of a black dad character — supposedly an insinuation that the condiment company believes most black households are fatherless — and the other allegedly reminiscent of Jim Crow-era minstrel shows. The first controversial commercial, part of the U.S. food manufacturer’s campaign called “Family Portraits,” celebrates an interracial couple on their wedding day. Specifically, the graphic shows a black bride indulging in Heinz’s new family-sized pasta sauce at her reception while relatives look on in amusement. Seated to her left appears to be her newly wedded husband, who’s white, and an older black woman meant to be her mother. On the other side are the groom’s parents, presumably. Apparently absent is the bride’s father, not pictured. Racial justice warriors took to social media to rage-tweet about the advertisement, with some saying it embodies the “erasure” of black fathers in mainstream media… The second advert in question depicts a black man holding a hamburger with Heinz ketchup smeared around his mouth. Critics claimed it “bears resemblance to historically racist caricatures,” carries “blackface connotations,” and contains imagery invoking 19th-century minstrel shows, in which white actors portrayed black people as dimwitted and buffoonish, often donning clownish features, such as enlarged red lips ( Townhall). Revamped: Heinz is currently under fire for their latest ad campaign. Many are calling out the cultural insensitivity behind the imagery, underscoring the urgent need for better representation at the decision-making level ( X).
