We Can’t Let Bigotry & Hate Win!

As a proud Muslim American, I cherish the religious freedom that is a founding principle of our nation. America has allowed me to live a life of opportunity and service to others, alongside countless millions—Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jews, Hindus, and others—who have sought refuge here, fleeing persecution and discrimination. I often quote my good friend, California Governor Gavin Newsom: "We don’t tolerate diversity; we celebrate it, because it is the backbone of democracy and what makes America so great." This celebration of diversity is what sets us apart, and it's why we must reject leaders who promote hate and division.

The election is just three weeks away, and polls show an incredibly close race that could come down to a few thousand votes in a handful of states. Every vote matters. Now, more than ever, we must do whatever we can to reach out to our family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues to make sure they are informed about Donald Trump’s racist views and destructive policies. We need to ensure they’re ready to vote for Kamala Harris and Democrats on November 5th, to protect the values that make our country strong.
