Friend, I have some AMAZING news to share!

President Barack Obama just endorsed my campaign for Senate against Ted Cruz!

This is a huge moment for us, friend. It means President Obama believes we can win – and he knows how important this race is, not just for Texans but our entire country.

Folks are sick and tired of Ted Cruz’s selfishness and extremism. I’m ready to be a Senator for all 30 million Texans, and if we can win here, it’ll go a long way toward helping Democrats defend the Senate.

But with just 22 days left in this race and polls showing us statistically tied, Cruz and his allies are spending huge amounts to defeat me (last I checked it was over $34 MILLION, and could be even higher by the time this email hits your inbox).

I need your grassroots support to reach voters in this critical final stretch, so I’m personally asking: Will you answer President Obama's call to action by chipping in $5 or more to help reach my $2,000,000 FEC public filing deadline goal by Wednesday so we can beat Ted Cruz and keep the Senate blue?
