Happy Indigenous People's Day In honor of Indigenous People’s Day, we are pleased to highlight our partner 7 Directions of Service has been selected as a recipient of the League Conservation Voters’ Clean Energy For All Partnerships Grant. This grant helps to strengthen partnerships with local organizations representing Black, Brown, Indigenous, and other people of color. We have worked alongside 7 Directions of Service to hold community meetings, engage impacted landowners, and other advocacy efforts to oppose the Transco pipeline in the Triad area which crosses their ancestral homeland (the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation). We are excited to continue working with this indigenous-led organization and supporting the work they’re leading. |
