So, when Glenn Youngkin began purging the voter rolls , I wrote a letter demanding an explanation for the lack of transparency and discretion that led to his decision.

Last week, the League of Women Voters, the Virginia Coalition for Immigrant Rights, the Campaign Legal Center, the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, and the Advancement Project sued the Commonwealth of Virginia and Republican Attorney General Jason Miyares for Glenn Youngkin’s voter purge on the basis that it violates the National Voter Registration Act.

With the most important election of our lifetimes in just 21 days, I am doing everything I can to fight back against the baseless conspiracy theories amplified by Donald Trump, Elon Musk and the far-right that are fueling the efforts to suppress eligible voters.
