We used to say this in the NFL all the time, friend. To me it means that anything worth having doesn’t come easy – it requires a lot of time, hard work, and effort.

Running a campaign against a 12-year incumbent like Ted Cruz is no different. I knew from the beginning it wouldn't be easy.

I also knew it would be worth every ounce of effort to give Texans the leadership we deserve. And now with polls showing us deadlocked, we're closer than EVER to defeating him.

But to overcome the $34 MILLION Cruz and his allies are spending to attack me, we need to outwork, outhustle, and outraise him. I'm ready, but I need your help to reach tonight's $300,000 goal, so please:
