Minnesota Residential Heat Pump Rebate Training Program

The Minnesota Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources (“Commerce”) is seeking proposals from experienced vendors to develop and deliver training in the technical aspects and installations of residential heat pumps.
Training will support the successful implementation of Minnesota’s new Residential Heat Pump Rebate Program (Minn. Stat. § 216C.46), which aims to increase the use of energy-efficient heat pumps in residences across the state. The training provider will ensure that contractors are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to correctly install and service residential heat pumps, thus enhancing program efficacy and increasing customer satisfaction.
A Request for Proposal (“RFP”) and required forms are available for download on Commerce’s RFP website at https://mn.gov/commerce/business/rfp.jsp. Proposals must be submitted through Commerce’s grant submission portal. A link to the portal and instructions for submitting proposals can be found in the RFP.
Proposals are due by Friday, November 15, 2024, at 5:00PM CDT. Late proposals will not be considered.
This request does not obligate the State to complete the work contemplated in this notice. The State reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. All expenses incurred in responding to this notice are solely the responsibility of the Responder.
