Team,
Recently, a new bill called was introduced to Congress that could completely reinvent housing in America. The Homes Act could help build and preserve as many as 1.3 million homes in small towns, big cities, and rural communities, and help families everywhere find a quality, affordable place to call home.
That sounds amazing, so why aren’t we celebrating?
It hasn’t passed yet.
But just look at the numbers; if this bill passes, we could:
- Build 1,252,000 new homes
- Generate 427,000 new jobs annually
- Help millions of minimum-wage workers find affordable places to live
Every day, families nationwide are grappling with the housing crisis. All too often, people are forced to choose between paying rent and paying for food or medication.
All of that could change if the Homes Act passes.
Housing is a basic human right, end of story. That's why it's mission critical that young voters like us step up and make our voices heard. So we have to ask:
Will you add your name TODAY to tell Congress it's time to pass the Homes Act: [link removed]
I'm in: Pass the Homes Act: [link removed]
Let's do this,
