John, I’ll get straight to the point.
Earlier today, I had a tough conversation with our Campaign Manager and told him we’re at risk of falling behind our $500,000 goal the DAY BEFORE our campaign’s final mid-month deadline. As of right now, we’re still $210,563 short — will you rush a donation of $10, $15, or even $25 to help us stay on track?
There’s so much work left to do in the days leading up to Election Day, John — and it’s not cheap to run a large voter outreach program in one of the most competitive races of the cycle.
We have to knock on doors in every corner of North Carolina. We have to mobilize voters who are already on our team. And we have to make sure undecided voters understand the danger Mark Robinson poses and turn out for Josh.
But as I said: talking to voters costs money, and I’m in charge of making sure we can execute on our strategic plans.
I could go on and on to try and convince you to support our campaign right now, but I’ll keep it simple:
Either we reach our $500,000 mid-month goal, or I will have to have another tough conversation about what we can realistically accomplish in the final days of this race.
So, I’ll ask one more time: Will you chip in $15 or more before tomorrow night’s deadline so we can stay on track?
