John, I just took a big risk.
This morning, I authorized launching our TV ad buy earlier than we initially planned, even though the money wasn’t in our budget. My finance director wasn’t exactly thrilled with the idea at first, but he came around once I explained why. Let me fill you in:
We’re officially only 22 days away from Election day and with early voting already in full swing, we’re running out of time to reach voters and ensure our message is being heard across the district. Right now it’s critical that we get our ads on the air as much as possible — because having these ads up and running is the best way to counter attacks on our campaign.
But now, we’re facing a $15,000 budget gap that we have to make up to keep these ads live. We absolutely cannot afford to fall further behind right now, but I told my finance director that I trust top supporters like you to have my back.
So please, can you chip in $10 or whatever you can spare right now to help us keep our ads on the air and reach voters for these final few weeks?
