Last week, my opponent and I met in Greensboro for our only debate of the race. If you didn’t catch the highlights on Loretta Boniti’s Sunday show yesterday, you can catch the full replay here:

We covered a lot of ground, but one thing was abundantly clear: we’ve got two very different visions for the Treasurer’s office on the ballot this year.
My opponent would gladly hand his duties off to a board of unaccountable, partisan hacks appointed by entrenched legislative leaders and spend the next four years doing the bare minimum. I, on the other hand, believe in going above and beyond to deliver real results for North Carolina, and I believe that the people should be the only ones choosing who invests the people's money.
But now comes the big lift: we’ve got to have the resources we need to make sure folks from Murphy to Manteo hear that message. And I’ll be honest, I turned on the news this morning and saw that my opponent’s campaign commercial has already hit the airwaves, misleading voters about my financial experience and distorting the truth about this race.
Well, I have news for my opponent: we’re going up on the air too. I’m excited to share that video with you tomorrow morning, but in the meantime, can I ask you to please help ensure our campaign has the funding to make sure we’re able to go toe-to-toe with my opponent and fight back against his misinformation? Anything you can contribute will help us do more.
