"The actions we are taking are observed all over the Middle East. When the smoke in Lebanon clears, in Iran they will realize that they have lost their most valuable asset - which is Hezbollah. Today we are one year from the beginning of the war, the result one year after the beginning of the war is that Hamas is a disintegrated organization.... Hezbollah is a battered, broken organization, without command and control capabilities, without significant fire capabilities..., and above all, without leadership at any level - not at the political level, not at the military level, not in the ability to make decisions. We need to take advantage of that, because our goal is to return the residents of the north to their homes safely."
