Dear AFGE Activist,

Today we are proud to celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day.

It is critical for us as a union family to honor the histories, traditions and struggles of those who are native to this land. Through recognition of Indigenous Peoples' Day we have the opportunity to reflect on the cultures and perseverance of Native Americans, Native Alaskans and Native Hawaiians.

AFGE's Women and Fair Practices Department is collaborating with AFGE activists to create a constituency group for our Indigenous members and we encourage those interested to participate. Click here to find out more information on how to get involved in the formation of this group.

In Solidarity,

Everett Kelley
AFGE National President
