When I stopped by headquarters yesterday, I made a beeline for our new Grassroots Donor Wall.
Everywhere my eye went, I saw names from near and far. Names like Daniel Y. from Pennsylvania and Sarah L. from South Carolina. Carol M. from Colorado and Matthew W. from right here in Massachusetts.
I know that behind each name is the story of why they jumped into this fight.
I could not be more grateful for Daniel, Sarah, Carol, Matthew — and every person who donated to show their support on the Grassroots Donor Wall.
But we still have some space left on the wall, and we’re saving it for people who help meet our mid-quarter goal.
Our Grassroots Donor Wall represents the community that makes this campaign possible.
We’re in this fight because we know the rules are rigged against working families. We know the economy is working for a thinner and thinner slice at the top, and we’re ready for big, structural change to make it work for everyone.
When I read the names of the grassroots donors on our wall, I know that I’ve got each and every one of them by my side. And I’m hopeful that, together, we can make a real difference in the lives of Americans all across this country.
