Dear Friend,

Time's almost up — the deadline for our October $75,000 Match Challenge is here! The fight against Alzheimer's disease has never been more urgent — and so is your support. When you give today, your gift can go TWICE AS FAR — but you only have until midnight, so we need you to act now.

GIVE NOW

Our work is focused on helping people living with dementia and their loved ones live for today as best as possible AND fighting for a tomorrow without Alzheimer's disease.

Josh Lonn isn't ready to give up the fight for tomorrow. His father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2015, but he is still hopeful that our work will eventually lead to more treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
"I've watched Alzheimer's erode my brilliant father slowly. But I see the advances in research and treatment, and I fight so that one day my kids will live in a world without this disease."
The advances in research and treatment, such as U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval of several treatments that could meaningfully change the course of the disease for some people living with early Alzheimer's, are just a few of the many reasons to take part in the fight. But these treatments aren't for everyone, and they aren't cures — so there isn't a second to waste. Currently, 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia, and every day, more people are diagnosed with this devastating disease that steals so much from us.

That's why I am reaching out to you, a compassionate member of our community about our October $75,000 Match Challenge.

DOUBLE MY IMPACT

This match is made possible by Jane and Fred Schmidt, who have made a generous pledge of $75,000 to support Alzheimer's research efforts — but only if we can raise the same amount by tonight at midnight. Their gift is made in loving memory of Jane's father, Robert "RT" Tracy, who passed away with Alzheimer's in 2006 and would have celebrated his 100th birthday this year. That means your first gift can go twice as far to advance research and help provide care and support to people living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers.

MAKE 2X THE IMPACT

Thanks to our generous supporters, we've made tremendous progress. This past July, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration approved another treatment that can meaningfully change the course of the disease for some people living with early Alzheimer's.

We're moving closer to a cure, but we can't get there without you. Our work is far from done, and we won't rest until everyone — at any stage — can get the treatment, care and support they need and deserve. That's why your support — that can DOUBLE in impact if you act before midnight tonight — is critical.

We must keep the momentum going. There is still time to help provide twice the care and support for today and twice the hope for the future to families who are affected by this cruel disease. Please don't wait — make your gift before midnight.
See how far your 2X match gift can go.
Your impact can be doubled.
