UPCOMING ADAPTIVE REUSE EVENTS

Arlington County is grappling with unprecedented commercial office vacancies, requiring innovative and forward-thinking solutions to navigate this shifting economic landscape. Arlington Economic Development will be hosting a “Lunch and Learn” webinar on their Commercial Market Resiliency Initiative and proposed adaptive reuse policy, on Thursday, October 17 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. You may register for this policy discussion here

As the County explores options for repurposing and transforming commercial spaces, critical questions remain about the path forward. On Tuesday, October 29 from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m., the Chamber will host Adapting to the New Normal, which will explore how Arlington can adapt to these new challenges and examine the policy choices that will strengthen the commercial real estate sector and therefore the overall community.

The event will feature an overview presentation by Ryan Touhill, Director of Arlington Economic Development, followed by a dynamic panel discussion featuring Kate Ange, Deputy Director of Arlington Economic Development; Bob Bushkoff, Vice President of Dittmar Company; Kevin Yam, Vice Chair of Arlington County Economic Development Commission. The panel will be moderated by Andrew Painter of Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley & Walsh, P.C.

Join us for a thought-provoking conversation on the future of Arlington’s real estate market, and impact on our broader community.
