Man Arrested Outside of Trump Rally With Loaded Firearms, Fake Passes

KTLA: A man was arrested outside of a campaign rally for former President Donald Trump in Southern California, and multiple guns were illegally in his possession. The arrest took place at a checkpoint at the intersection of Avenue 52 and Celebration Drive in Coachella at 4:59 p.m. on Saturday, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said. The rally was scheduled to start at 5 p.m. The driver of a black SUV, who was later identified as 49-year-old Vem Miller of Las Vegas, was found to be in illegal possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine (KTLA). Charlie Kirk: Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco says Trump was “probably” just targeted in a third assassination attempt after Vem Miller was arrested outside of Trump’s Coachella rally with an illegally obtained shotgun, a loaded handgun, a fake VIP passes. The individual reportedly expressed an intent to “kill the President” (X).

Hezbollah Drone Attack Wounds 60 Israelis in Largest Terror Attack Since October 7
CBS: A drone strike hit central Israel on Sunday, wounding more than 60 people, some of them critically, rescue services said, in one of the bloodiest attacks in Israel in a year of war. The Lebanon-based Hezbollah militant group said the strike targeted a military camp. Israeli media reported that two drones were launched from Lebanon, and Israel’s military said one was intercepted. It was not immediately clear who was hurt, military or civilians, or what was hit. There were no details from Israel’s military, which earlier reported that at least 115 rockets were fired from Lebanon. Hezbollah said in a statement that it targeted an Israeli military training camp in retaliation for two Israeli strikes in Beirut on Thursday that killed 22 people. It was the second time in two days that a drone has struck in Israel. On Saturday, during the Israeli holiday of Yom Kippur, a drone struck a suburb of Tel Aviv, causing damage but no injuries (CBS). CNN: Hezbollah said it had targeted the Golani Brigade, an infantry unit of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that has been deployed in southern Lebanon (CNN).

Israel Seizes UNRWA’s HQ in Jerusalem
Israel Hayom: The Israel Land Authority (ILA) is seizing the land of UNRWA’s headquarters in Jerusalem, in order to build 1,440 housing units. As the extent of UNRWA and its employees’ collaboration in the massacre at Gaza border communities by Hamas and their role in providing assistance for murder, kidnapping, and more continues to be revealed, a significant step has been taken for the first time against the refugee agency (Israel Hayom). Newsmax: The U.N. launched an investigation into Israel’s accusations and dismissed nine staff, while the records of others were still being reviewed. In July, the Israeli Parliament gave preliminary approval to a bill that would declare UNRWA a “terrorist organization” (Newsmax).

JD Vance to ABC’s Martha Raddatz: "Do you hear yourself?”
Mediaite: Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance challenged Martha Raddatz on Sunday morning over a fact-check on former President Donald Trump’s claims that criminal migrant gangs had taken over a Colorado city. On ABC’s This Week, the Republican senator from Ohio fired back in response to a comment by Raddatz that only a “handful” of Aurora apartment complexes had seen Venezuelan gang activity. Trump has been accused of overstating the dangers members of the gang Tren de Aragua posed to the city. At a rally in Aurora on Friday evening, Trump vowed to go after criminal migrants nationwide and to name the operation to send them to their native countries after the city in what he called “Operation Aurora” (Mediaite). Greg Price: Raddatz: “The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes… A handful.” Vance: “Do you hear yourself? Only a HANDFUL of apartment complexes were taken over by Venezuelan gangs and Donald Trump is the problem” (X)?

Tim Walz Claims False Information From Grocery Stores Contributes to Inflation

Tim Walz (D-MN), the Democrat vice-presidential nominee, was asked about the squeeze being put on the middle class amid a time of high inflation. Biden’s DOJ Sues Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) for Removing Non-Citizens From Voter Rolls
Townhall: The Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ) is suing Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin (R-VA) just weeks before the 2024 presidential election for removing non-citizens from his state’s voter rolls. According to the complaint, the state Board of Elections and Virginia Commissioner of Elections Susan Beals claims Youngkin violated the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) by purging voters from the voter roll this close to the November election. The act requires states to complete their maintenance program by 90 days before an election under a clause known as the Quiet Period Provision. Under the governor’s executive order, Virginia has removed over 6,000 individuals, including those illegally registered to vote. Youngkin’s order ensured that the voter list had “daily” updates (Townhall). Governor Youngkin: “With less than 30 days until the election, the Biden-Harris Department of Justice is filing an unprecedented lawsuit against me and the Commonwealth of Virginia, for appropriately enforcing a 2006 law signed by Democrat Tim Kaine that requires Virginia to remove noncitizens from the voter rolls – a process that starts with someone declaring themselves a non-citizen and then registering to vote (Virginia.gov).

Hamas Pressured Iran to Attack Israel on October 7
New York Times: For more than two years, Yahya Sinwar huddled with his top Hamas commanders and plotted what they hoped would be the most devastating and destabilizing attack on Israel in the militant group’s four-decade history. Minutes of Hamas’s secret meetings, seized by the Israeli military and obtained by The New York Times, provide a detailed record of the planning for the Oct. 7 terrorist attack, as well as Mr. Sinwar’s determination to persuade Hamas’s allies, Iran and Hezbollah, to join the assault or at least commit to a broader fight with Israel if Hamas staged a surprise cross-border raid… Hamas initially planned to carry out the attack, which it code-named “the big project,” in the fall of 2022. But the group delayed executing the plan as it tried to persuade Iran and Hezbollah to participate (New York Times). Townhall: Iran gave Hamas terrorists at least $10 million before the attack. However, Sinwar initiated a “vigorous appeal” and demanded $500 million more over two years and training for 12,000 terrorists… In the summer before October 2023, Sinwar’s deputy, Khalil al-Hayya, asked for Iran’s help with the attack on Israeli military sites within the “first hour.” The documents state that Iran supported the attack but needed time to “prepare the environment.” Ultimately, Iran did not participate in the attack on Israel that day, but it is unclear whether they provided any assistance to Hamas on Israel’s whereabouts or vulnerable sites (Townhall).

Alejandro Mayorkas Claims Democrats Are Not Allowing Illegal Immigrants Into the Country to Vote
Daily Wire: Embattled Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas claimed over the weekend that it was “disinformation” to claim that the Biden-Harris administration was intentionally trying to bring illegal aliens into the U.S. so they could vote in U.S. elections. Mayorkas, who had falsely claimed for years that the U.S. southern border was secure, made the remarks during a Sunday interview on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” with host Margaret Brennan when she noted that the majority of Republicans believe that the Biden-Harris administration is intentionally allowing illegal aliens into the country. “Our CBS polling shows 65% of Trump voters believe the Biden administration is trying to intentionally increase the number of migrants at the border,” she said (Daily Wire). RNC Research: Mayorkas says it’s “preposterous” to suggest the Harris-Biden administration would “intentionally allow individuals to cross the border illegally.” They took 94 executive actions in their first 100 days to dismantle President Trump’s border security — that’s intentional (X).

The poll shows Hochman with 51 percent support from likely LA county voters and Gascón taking 21 percent of the vote (National Review). President Biden Speaks in Florida, Lies About Losing His Home in a Fire
USA Today: President Joe Biden on Sunday visited Florida for the second time in a little more than a week to tour storm-ravaged communities as the state still grappled with nearly 1 million power outages, gas shortages and persistent flooding in the wake of deadly Hurricane Milton (USA Today). RNC Research: Biden tells hurricane victims he knows “from experience how devastating it is to lose your home” because he had to be “out of the home for seven months” due to a fire. He’s lying (again) — it was a “small fire … contained to the kitchen” and was “under control in 20 minutes” (X).
