It’s safe to say that I have nerves of steel and I HATE to lose.
This is Secretary Mike Pompeo – I’ll go to great lengths to avoid the latter. Which brings me to the purpose of my email.
I was just briefed on a few sensitive matters regarding the most important election of my lifetime. I’d like to share a few of my notes with you. ([link removed])
Problem #1: Republicans are hanging onto the House Majority by the skin of their teeth – if we lose just a handful of seats, Democrats take total control.
Problem #2: Kamala Harris just cut a $25M check to bail out vulnerable down-ballot Democrats in close races.
Problem #3: The polls are close – REALLY close – and the entire election could come down to one or two points either way.
Problem #4: Early voting is already underway in swing states and Democrats have the advantage.
Problem #5: House Republicans are not hitting their fundraising numbers – now they’re in serious danger of pulling their ads OFF THE AIRWAVES!
This would be the worst-case scenario in the final days of the election. That’s why I’m taking it upon myself to help Majority Leader Steve Scalise raise one million dollars ([link removed]) between now and their final mid-month deadline.
