I’m pleased to share some great news with you today.

My office has now recovered more than $20 million owed to local taxpayers in the Kansas Third District! This includes helping Kansans get their stalled tax refunds, backlogged veterans’ benefits, Social Security savings, and more.

Everyone deserves a government that works for them. That’s the way it should be.

Anything my office can do to help folks in the Third District navigate the bureaucracy of the federal government will always be a priority of mine.

This is money that taxpayers are owed. It goes right into the pockets of hardworking Kansans, helping them at their kitchen tables and keeps our local economy moving.

Of the $20 million recovered for Kansans since 2019, more than $3.2 million has been recovered so far in 2024 alone. We’re here to work hard and help local families however we can.

In fact, that’s why we’re having two more Pop Up Office Hours later this month. This is when my team goes to communities across the Kansas Third District so people can get help more conveniently in their own neighborhoods.

Our next Pop Up is in Lenexa on Thursday, October 17, at 9:30 AM. Then we’ll be in Garnett on Friday, October 25 at 2:30 PM.
