Double your impact to support clean energy, clean air and a safer climate.

The fall season brings up images of changing leaves, football and going back to school.
In Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the Steamrollers of Steelton-Highspire are the football state champions AND leaders in clean energy. This fall, the players traveled to and from games on some of the state’s first electric school buses.
The pollution-free buses mean healthier air to breathe and fuel savings of at least $20,000 a year for the school. These savings go right back into the school’s educational materials, like lessons based on the buses.
Steelton-Highspire's new electric school buses came from the Environmental Protection Agency’s fast-tracked funding thanks to advocacy from EDF and EDF organization Moms Clean Air Force/Eco Madres.
This work is far from over as thousands of school districts have yet to apply for these grants. And we need your help to keep the momentum going.
Traditional school buses run on fossil fuels and emit pollution that contributes to climate change and health impacts like asthma and heart disease. There’s still more funding available for electric school buses through EPA’s program, and we need to make sure it gets into the hands of the schools and kids that need cleaner air the most.

Monthly giving is a convenient and effective way for you to accelerate our transition to a clean energy future for people and the planet. EDF Eco Partners provide the steady, reliable funding we need to prioritize pollution-free school buses for school districts where kids are breathing the dirtiest air.
And as an Eco Partner, you’ll receive exclusive, in-depth reports, invitations for virtual events, quarterly updates and stories — like the Steamrollers of Steelton-Highspire — on how you’re helping make a difference.
