This is concerning, friend.

The Cook Political Report just released their latest race analysis of CA-21.

They're saying our race will be among the most competitive in the country. No surprises there. So far, TJ is the only California incumbent defending a tossup seat in 2020.

But they're also predicting that our race is going to be an especially "expensive and negative affair."

The Republicans' flagship super PAC has already committed $1.6 million for negative attacks against TJ. Not to mention Valadao is regularly smearing TJ in the press and with his supporters -- calling him "radical” and "socialist.”

We're no stranger to negative attacks. But what's worrying is that David Valadao is quietly amassing a record-breaking warchest with help from Kevin McCarthy, Devin Nunes, and Donald Trump himself.
