The forces of censorship are seeing how far they can go to
silence dissent.

With the election now upon us, they're growing desperate.

Last week, YouTube shut down multiple channels which were
critical of the official narrative on Ukraine, only to reinstate
them after intense backlash.

You see, YouTube had decided to censor content creators who
interview guests who had their own channels banned on the
platform.

Remember, they've even tried to silence Ron Paul on social media.

As John warned in his latest email - read it below - the statists
are absolutely desperate, and they are making censorship a plank
of the Democrat Party platform.

We've never had a political party in America so blatantly and
openly come out in favor of censorship and dismantling the First
Amendment.

This is unprecedented and we must speak out against censorship at
every turn!

Patriot,

Hillary Clinton doubled down on her demands to censor the
Internet last weekend - and in doing so, she gave Democrats their
marching orders.

This after Hillary demanded Americans who repeat what she deems
"misinformation" should not only be censored but criminally
prosecuted.

(Never mind that her 2016 campaign pushed the debunked Steele
Dossier, and her statist friends - so-called intelligence experts
- falsely said the Hunter Biden laptop story was disinformation .
. . but to them, the truth doesn't matter and the rules are
different for them.)

Now, Hillary has called for social networks to be held liable for
everything posted by their millions (sometimes billions) of
users.

You see, according to Section 230 of the Communications Decency
Act, platforms such as Facebook and Twitter/X cannot be held
liable as a publisher for what their users post, because they are
simply a platform.

Without that Section 230 protection, online speech would be
practically eliminated entirely.

Imagine if a social network with millions of users could be held
liable for the speech of every single one of them. They would
have to review and approve every post and every comment. It would
be completely unworkable. You can also see these networks simply
automatically blocking keywords and shutting up anyone with a
dissenting point of view.

It would go beyond rampant censorship. It would shut everything
down.

That's why it's critical we tell Congress right now: HANDS OFF

It's true that in some cases, companies like Google have tried to
use Section 230 beyond its purpose, to claim immunity from any
liability for arbitrarily censoring and deplatforming their own
users.

But the answer to that is not to weaken legal protections for
online speech.

When legitimate laws are broken, they should be enforced by the
courts.

And users can choose to take their business to a friendlier
platform.

If Section 230 is repealed, and Hillary and her cohorts get their
way, there won't be any escaping the censorship.

Without a doubt, Hillary Clinton was thinking of free speech
platforms like X, Rumble, and Telegram.

You can rest assured, if the government could attack online
platforms for the speech of any given user, it would not only
shut down the pesky free speech platforms, but also give them
leverage to control speech on the others - as they did to
manipulate public opinion in the pandemic.

Patriot, Hillary Clinton knows EXACTLY what she is doing.

If the Democrats lose in November, they will blame
"misinformation" (meaning, freedom of speech) and that will
become a central plank of the Democrat party for years to come.

And if they win in November, they will make this their top
priority.

The statists are anxious to shut you and me up. There are more
than enough villains speaking against free speech right now:

- John Kerry (who like Hillary was once a Democrat presidential
nominee and a political has-been) whined at the World Economic
Forum the First Amendment is "the major roadblock" to "stamping
out" misinformation;

- Vice Presidential candidate Tim Walz falsely claimed the First
Amendment doesn't protect all speech. He repeated this false
statement (misinformation) in front of tens of millions of
Americans watching the vice presidential debate last week.

- When she was a senator, Vice President Kamala Harris introduced
a constitutional amendment to eliminate the free speech
protections upheld in the Citizens United case - a case brought
about because citizens were silenced from criticizing Hillary
Clinton herself. Every Senate Democrat voiced support for killing
your right to free speech.

Patriot, the party that once cherished free speech has now
become its mortal enemy.

As we just explained, whether they take power next year or not,
the left, and specifically the Democrats, will be targeting the
First Amendment for years to come.
