John — I’ve been an actor for over six decades now, but being an activist is what keeps me alive.

To me, the two aren’t so different. Art has always been a way to tell stories that matter, to foster empathy, and to connect people to a cause greater than themselves.

Art allowed me to see the world through my characters; activism gave me the voice to put empathy and care into action for people who need it most.

For decades, I’ve been on the front lines of major movements, from the fight for women’s rights to climate justice — and I’ve seen firsthand the change we can create in the world when we come together for a common goal.

That’s why I launched the Jane Fonda Climate PAC — because I know that if we harness our collective power and direct it toward electing climate champions, we can create a livable future.

We’re now 23 days away from a pivotal election where our future is on the line. It’s going to take all of us showing up, speaking out, and pitching in. Whether that means volunteering your time or chipping in a few dollars here or there, every bit of support helps us push through the final stretch.

I’ve been inspired by the many artists who are using their platforms for something bigger than themselves.

But no amount of celebrity status will change anything if people don’t ACT. We all have a role in this movement. I often say that celebrities are like repeaters — like those antennas you see on mountain tops. We pick up the signals from people in the valleys — communities suffering from pollution, climate injustice, and environmental devastation — and we amplify them, making sure their stories reach more people.

I’ll do everything I can to be the best repeater I can, but I need you with me, John.
