Our Lady of Fatima – Miracle of the Sun, Holy Mass, Oct.13, Submit Your Intentions

Dear Friend, 

The Miracle of the Sun, that over 70,000 people witnessed at Fatima, took place 107 years ago today. Our Lady promised this to Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta. Since that time, no other approved miraculous event has ever taken place that was witnessed by so many people.

Let us focus on the words of Our Lady, on the July 13 Third Apparition: “that on the First Saturday of every month Communions of reparation be made in atonement for the sins-of the world."

Then, on December 10, 1925, in Pontevedra, Spain, Our Lady told Sister Lucia: 

“Behold, my daughter, my Heart encircled with thorns, with which ungrateful men pierce it at every moment by their blasphemies and ingratitude. Give me consolation, you, at least; and make known on my behalf that I promise to assist at the hour of death, with the graces necessary for salvation, all who on the First Saturday of five consecutive months confess their sins, receive Holy Communion, recite five decades of the Rosary, and keep me company for fifteen minutes meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, with the purpose of making reparation to my Immaculate Heart.”

Have you fulfilled the Five First Saturdays Devotion that Our Lady of Fatima has requested?  

- Receive Holy Communion on five consecutive First Saturdays of the month.

- If possible, confess your sins to a priest on that day (Sacrament of Penance) or within eight days.

- Devout recitation of the Holy Rosary, praying at least five decades, along with fifteen minutes of meditation on the mysteries – Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful and Glorious. 

- Reparation for the blasphemies and offenses against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which are: blasphemies against the Immaculate Conception, against her Virginity, against the Divine Maternity – refusing to receive her as the Mother of mankind and revilement of the sacred images of the Blessed Mother. 

The next five First Saturdays are November 2, December 7, January 4, February 1 and March 1. Locate a church where Saturday Holy Masses are offered, go to www.masstimes.org or contact your local diocese. Share this information and encourage others to join you. For those who have never completed the Five First Saturdays, let me know when you have finished the fifth Saturday. I will be praying for all Rosary Warriors to fulfill what Our Lady has asked of us.
