We’ve been on the road for a month now, organizing Weekend of Action events to turn out the pro-democracy vote. As we head into the final stretch, I want to share a couple of moments that remind us just how crucial our work is:

• A man who initially had no interest in voting turned our volunteers away. But then his wife invited us into their home, and after nearly an hour of conversation, the man became fully engaged. By the end, he was excited to vote and even encouraged his 19-year-old grandson to register.

• A Nicaraguan immigrant was undecided about voting. After talking with our volunteers, who pointed out the disturbing parallels between the Ortega regime she fled from and current proposals in Project 2025, she was convinced of the dangers of Donald Trump returning to office. She left feeling determined to vote for democracy.

These powerful conversations are only possible when we get out and speak directly to voters. But we need your help to reach more people.
