John,

There are so many people to be thankful for during this pandemic.

The list of helpers and folks stepping up during this time is infinite, but this week, I want to highlight two groups of people who are making a big difference during this pandemic: nurses and teachers.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and yesterday was Nurse Appreciation Day. Show your support for these heroes by making a joint contribution to the American Federation of Teachers’ COVID-19 Response Fund and the American Nurses Foundation Coronavirus Response Fund >> [link removed]

Nurses are taking care of patients at the expense of their own health and safety. Day in and day out, they’re giving tests, providing treatment, and supporting patients going through an incredibly difficult and scary experience. We HAVE to make sure they are supported during this exhausting, traumatic time.

Meanwhile, our teachers are adapting to these new, challenging times to make sure our students are still able to learn and grow. We’ve always appreciated the work that teachers do. But now, when parents are spending more time at home with their children and realizing the amount of energy and skill it takes to teach students all day long, we’re especially grateful for them.

Both teachers and nurses are going above and beyond during this time to make sure we are safe, cared for, and supported. Let’s appreciate them, recognize their work, and pledge to go above and beyond for them.

Join me in supporting our nurses and teachers this week by splitting a contribution between these two funds dedicated to providing these heroes with the support they need >> [link removed]

Thank you so much for supporting these frontline workers.

Standing Tall for All,
