John, this is urgent:
Donald Trump will be in the Coachella Valley for a MAGA rally –
and we just got word that Will’s opponent, Ken Calvert, will be in attendance.
According to an
LA Times report, Trump’s plan is to
"juice Republican turnout in the state." So his first (and likely only) stop is in our community where we’re running in one of the most consequential races in the country that could determine the majority. And Trump’s visit coincides with ballots just dropping in mailboxes across CA-41.
Here’s what we expect: long ramblings about fictional character Hannibal Lecter, fearmongering, dishonest attacks, and maybe even an appearance on stage from Calvert himself.
After all, Calvert did Trump’s dirty work on Jan. 6, 2021 by voting against certifying the election, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see them standing side by side.
We’re officially up against the MAGA machine, but that doesn’t mean we’re backing down. In fact, it’s exactly why we need your support right now:
