Mayorkas Refuses Questions on Afghan Charged with Election Day Terror Plot
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, refused to
answer questions after the arrest of Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, a 27-year-old
Afghan immigrant with reported terrorist leanings, who was allegedly
planning an Election Day attack. The arrest followed an FBI investigation,
which revealed Tawhedi had previously worked in a security role in
Afghanistan for the CIA, according to CBS News.
