Dear John,
It was a busy week, but I’m back to keep you in the loop on how I am fighting for our conservative values.
As we reflect on the tragic events of October 7 on its one-year anniversary, we mourn the loss of innocent lives in the brutal Hamas attack on the State of Israel, the eternal homeland of the Jewish people. Our prayers are with the survivors and the families still yearning for the safe return of their loved ones held hostage. America must continue to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our ally as they defend their people and their very existence from evil terrorists.
I had the opportunity to debate the issues on Tuesday night and advocate for our shared conservative values of Minnesota’s Seventh District. During a discussion on trade and agriculture, I emphasized the importance of fair trade policies that support our local farmers. I also highlighted my involvement in overseas trade missions aimed at opening restrictive markets, along with my work on the latest bipartisan Farm Bill. This year’s iteration includes two of my bills that strengthen crop insurance and adjust regulations to attract more capital to our rural areas.
On the topic of immigration, I didn’t hold back in calling out the Biden-Harris administration for causing the crisis at our borders and spending billions of taxpayer dollars on those here illegally. This is all at the expense of U.S. citizens—including LEGAL immigrants. Myself, along with my fellow Republican colleagues, stand firmly for common-sense immigration reform and tough border security measures—not the Democrats’ asylum and foreign aid bill.
As we approach November’s election, I want the people of Minnesota’s Seventh District to know that my commitment to you remains unwavering. For nearly four years, I’ve stood strong in defending our conservative values, from life to parental rights, from the Second Amendment to reducing taxes and regulations. I pledge to continue fighting for what matters most—our families, our faith, and our freedoms.
