Folks, can I let you in on a secret? I hate asking you for money. I was terrible at selling magazines as a kid. My first job was selling Cutco knives, and I sold only two sets – to my parents and their friends. If I’m being honest, I’d much rather talk to you about the legislation I’m working on or what I plan to get done in the House. Asking for your hard-earned money is my least favorite part about running for Congress, but it’s these grassroots donations – no matter the size – that power our grassroots campaign and give us the best shot at beating Scott Baugh and winning this race. My campaign needs resources to build out our field program, communicate our message, and beat back Republican attacks.
