Folks, can I let you in on a secret? I hate asking you for money. I was terrible at selling magazines as a kid. My first job was selling Cutco knives, and I sold only two sets – to my parents and their friends. If I’m being honest, I’d much rather talk to you about the legislation I’m working on or what I plan to get done in the House.

Asking for your hard-earned money is my least favorite part about running for Congress, but it’s these grassroots donations – no matter the size – that power our grassroots campaign and give us the best shot at beating Scott Baugh and winning this race.

My campaign needs resources to build out our field program, communicate our message, and beat back Republican attacks. Are you able to chip in a few bucks today and help us reach the voters we need to win?

This campaign is powered by hard working folks just like you, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. And while asking you to chip in to my campaign is my least favorite part of running for Congress, I’m beyond grateful to have a strong team of supporters in my corner.

My team and I, along with all of our incredible volunteers, are working around the clock to talk to voters, spread our message, and secure the resources we need to win. But the truth is: I can’t win this without you.

The closer we get to Election Day, the more I can confidently say that it’s going to take the strength of this entire grassroots team to defeat Scott Baugh, keep CA-47 blue, and take back the House in November. I know we can win this race, but only if we work together. Can I count on you to pitch in to my campaign today?
