Last month, 100 Republicans voted against funding for FEMA, the government agency that responds to natural disasters like hurricanes, including North Carolina AG candidate and MAGA extremist Dan Bishop. 

And now, Republicans are criticizing the agency for not doing enough and parroting Donald Trump’s dangerous lies about it.

Dan Bishop and his fellow MAGA minions can’t be trusted to do what’s best for the people of their state, ESPECIALLY when it means breaking ranks with Donald Trump. They’ll watch the people of their state suffer if it means keeping Trump’s approval. 

That’s not the kind of person we want serving as the People’s Lawyer in North Carolina. AGs should always be looking to protect the most vulnerable in their state, not leaving them more vulnerable than before.
