Navy Federal Employees Craft Blankets for Veterans Affected by Hurricane Helene
On October 10, 150 Navy Federal employees came together at multiple campus locations to create over 200 no-sew blankets for Soldiers' Angels. This act of generosity comes at a crucial time, as the blankets will be sent to some of the hardest-hit areas in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, including the VA in Asheville, North Carolina. Currently, 150 displaced homeless Veterans are being housed at the Asheville VA, and these blankets will provide much-needed comfort to those already facing immense hardship in the wake of the storm.
