Hovde is terrified of older voters — and with the platform he’s running on, he should be!

Hovde wants to make huge cuts to Social Security and Medicare, and raise the retirement age to 72. And given the opportunity to disavow that stance in a recent interview, Hovde instead doubled down, saying that we need to slash earned benefits because “life expectancy is going to increase significantly.”

That might be true for ultra-wealthy people like Hovde, who has a net worth of at least $67 million. But for the rest of us, Hovde’s plan amounts to working until we die.

Hovde’s opponent, Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), is a long time champion of protecting and expanding Social Security. We need to keep her in the Senate — and keep Hovde out!
