Trump campaign and Elon Musk’s Twitter worked together to suppress reporting on hacked info
It turns out that Elon Musk personally stifled the spread of a hacked JD Vance dossier at the behest of the Trump campaign, permanently banning journalist Ken Klippenstein and blocking any sharing of the links. Very ironic, considering that Musk was a vocal critic of Twitter's previous CEO for doing the same thing with the Hunter Biden laptop hack...which was shut down because it contained graphic images of the president's son. Musk even went so far as to hire once-respected journalist Matt Taibbi to investigate the company’s handling of Hunter Biden story and made a huge deal out of what he called "the Twitter files." Now here he is doing the exact same thing, for purely political reasons as part of what is almost certainly illegal campaign coordination between the Trump camp and Elon Musk, who operates a Super PAC supporting Trump.

Right-wing media spread false claim that Kamala Harris used a teleprompter during town hall
Every day it's something new with these people, and every day it's dumber than the day before. The newest evidence of a giant media conspiracy to boost Kamala Harris is apparently the allegation that Harris was using a teleprompter during her town hall with Univision, being fed answers. The only problem is, like ALL the right-wing's deranged conspiracies, this falls apart immediately once you look at the pictures and see that the text on the teleprompter is in Spanish and was used as a support tool for the town hall moderator. It is really telling that the Trumpian propaganda machine is forced to cling to such low-stakes accusations of unfairness to try to smear the Vice President. The victimhood complex is well and truly off the rails.
Trump escalates anti-immigrant rhetoric in Colorado rally
Trump's hate rally circus tour of America rolled into Aurora, CO, a city that has played prominently in the right-wing conspiracies and fearmongering about immigration due to the arrest of several Venezuelan gang members there. Trump turned up the Hitler with his descriptions of a city overrun with immigrant criminals that have no basis in reality, saying "I will rescue Aurora and every town that has been invaded and conquered. We will put these vicious and bloodthirsty criminals in jail or kick them out of our country." The city's Republican mayor has publicly rejected Trump's ridiculous assertions, saying that "the reality is that the concerns about Venezuelan gang activity have been grossly exaggerated. The incidents were limited to several apartment complexes in this city of more than 400,000 residents.” But that didn't stop Trump from promising to "send elite squads of Ice, Border Patrol and federal law enforcement officers to arrest and deport every last illegal alien gang member until there is not a single one left in this country" — which we all know can be easily expanded to include any immigrant they feel like targeting. Trump's lies are deeply dangerous, but more dangerous still are the utterly insane policy proposals he makes at every new stop.

Meteorologists tracking the advance of Hurricane Milton have been targeted by a deluge of conspiracy theories that they were controlling the weather, abuse and even death threats, amid what they say is an unprecedented surge in misinformation as two major hurricanes have hit the US. The two biggest promoters of this misinformation? Donald Trump and his crony, Elon Musk. There needs to be a serious reckoning with a right-wing body politic that immediately jumps to death threats, harassment and violence the second anyone dares to contradict the outrageous lies told by its leader.
