My friends, we have a crisis on our hands. Research shows that the lethargy and apathy of the Church may make 2024 the election cycle with less Christian influence than any in recent memory. In fact, according to a recent Barna study, only 52% of theologically defined Christians plan to vote in this election! Contrast that number with 66% voter participation in 2020, and you can see what that lack of participation could mean for our communities, state, and nation. If the Christian response to this election remains muted, the outcomes will be dictated by those who do not see fellow human beings as made in the image of God. But, there’s hope. If the church and its leadership – specifically the pastor – equip the congregation, speak about issues, provide resources, and encourage voting participation, Christian engagement increases dramatically. That’s why Frontline has a devoted team personally reaching out to pastors and churches, supplying resources, and equipping believers. With your help, we believe this campaign can impact 1 Million Christians across our state – fueling a biblical witness in the public square. But, we need your help. Now is not the time for pulpits to lisp nor the time for Christians to be silent. Among the chief reasons cited for the lack of participation is disillusionment with the major candidates and parties. We don’t disagree! However, frustration because major candidates and parties do not fall in line with biblical values calls for greater Christian civic engagement, not less! Our I Believe Campaign is rooted in hope, biblical truth, and taking action for the love of God and love of neighbor. The resources are designed for Bible-believing churches and faithful Christians, and they are legally compliant and nonpartisan – without compromising the facts. Early voting starts on Tuesday. The number of days to make an impact is running short. We hope we can count on you! For His Glory, Cole Muzio
