VICTORY! Microsoft's GitHub Pledges to Combat Image-Based Sexual Abuse! Microsoft’s GitHub is the world’s leading platform for artificial intelligence development. Yet they have also been the #1 platform fueling the epidemic of AI-generated image-based sexual abuse (AI-generated IBSA, commonly called "deepfake pornography").
That’s why we named GitHub to the Dirty Dozen List for two years in a row. You joined us in taking action, demanding the company change.
And Microsoft's GitHub has finally listened to you!
Microsoft publicly committed to combatting AI-generated IBSA, signing the White House Private Sector Voluntary Commitments to Combat Image-Based Sexual Abuse.
They updated GitHub's policies, prohibiting “projects that are designed for, encourage, promote, support, or suggest in any way” the creation of AI-generated IBSA. As a result of this new policy, GitHub removed several repositories that hosted codes to generate IBSA, including DeepFaceLab, which hosted the code used to create 95% of deepfakes.
The importance of these victories cannot be overstated! Microsoft is arguably the #1 company with the most power to combat AI-generated IBSA. And given their enormous influence, we expect companies will soon follow their lead!
THANK YOU for your voice and action which made this incredible victory possible. |

The Faces of Social Media Harm
Far too many children have died from the dangers encountered on social media. The Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) could have saved those children. While it is unfortunately too late for them, it is not too late to prevent other children from meeting the same fate.
Scrolling 2 Death & Project Stand have created a flyer, "The Faces of Social Media Harm." It commemorates deceased children and urgently calls for the passing of KOSA, explaining how this bill will save lives. We thank Scrolling 2 Death and Project STAND for this valuable resource, and urge YOU to use it to spread the word!

New Research Calls Roblox a "Pedophile Hellscape"
A scathing new report from Hindenburg Research sheds light on the rampant sexual exploitation occurring on supposedly child-friendly gaming platform, Roblox. The report, which references NCOSE's Dirty Dozen List Campaign against Roblox, includes a lengthy list of positively shocking findings:
"As a test, we attempted to set up an account under the name ‘Jeffrey Epstein’…only to see the name was taken, along with 900+ variations. Many were Jeffrey Epstein fan accounts, including 'JeffEpsteinSupporter' which had earned multiple badges for spending time in kid’s games. Other Jeff Epstein accounts had the usernames '@igruum_minors' [I groom minors], and '@RavpeTinyK1dsJE' [rape tiny kids]."
"Registered as a child, we were also able to access games like 'Escape to Epstein Island' and 'Diddy Party'. We found over 600 'Diddy' games, including 'Survive Diddy' and 'Run From Diddy Simulator.'"
Hindenburg Research ultimately concluded that Roblox is an "X-rated pedophile hellscape." |

📣ACTION: Tell Your Representatives to Pass the Kids Online Safety Act!
After two years of Roblox being on the Dirty Dozen List, we have little confidence that this corporation is willing to change. We need legislation to force their hand! Call on your Senators to pass the Kids Online Safety Act, which would require platforms like Roblox to prioritize the safety of children. |

Hidden Wounds: The Mental Health Toll of Surviving Prostitution “A few months before and after I got out of prostitution, I started having what I now know are panic attacks and I lost the ability to speak. I just couldn’t talk, no sound would come, I was shutting down.” This is how one prostitution survivor describes the extreme trauma that followed her even after leaving the sex trade.
For many who have managed to escape the terrifying grips of prostitution, the battle for freedom, happiness, and peace, is only half won. Even when threats of gang-rape, degrading sexual acts, choking/strangulation, stalking, and beatings are no longer part of their daily lives, prostitution survivors now face a much more understated threat, one that often prevents them from finding complete liberation – severe mental health disorders.
Mental health disorders loom beneath the surface, not an immediately apparent threat to survivors, yet an undeniable roadblock in their pursuit of healing. |
