In the midst of the constant commotion surrounding the all-important presidential race, it is important not to lose sight of the congressional contests as well. No matter who is in the White House, it will make an enormous difference whether Congress is controlled by the pro-democracy majority or by the authoritarian MAGA movement.

To that end, we here at The Union are also focused on competitive House and Senate races where we have a chance to help put pro-democracy candidates over the top in November. One of those key races is for Alaska’s at-large congressional district, where pro-democracy Mary Peltola (D) is fighting to hang on to her seat against a Trump-backed MAGA challenger.

To help get Mary across the finish line and keep Alaska on the side of democracy, we will be joining our friends with Mary Peltola for Alaska to make calls to voters in that state starting this Saturday, October 12th, at 2:00 p.m. PDT.
