Friend,
A few weeks ago, I asked you to share your COVID-19 story [[link removed]] with us at the New Jersey Democratic State Committee.
We were so touched by the stories we received, and we wanted to put them together in a way that honors those who shared them while emphasizing the purpose of this exercise: to remind ourselves that even though we are living separate lives, we are all one community.

I’d like to share with you our new New Jersey's COVID-19 Stories page [[link removed]] . On this page, you can read about the experiences of people across the state, like Bob, whose son is running a 10 patient ICU in Queens; or Tashan, a recently-retired firefighter whose biggest challenge of social distancing is sitting still; or like Lixie, who is grateful for the time she’s able to spend with her husband and children during this crisis.
Sharing our stories is a powerful way to remain connected during these times, and I hope you’re as moved by these stories as I was. You’re still welcome to share your story [[link removed]] with us, too. Please know that we’re thinking of you and your family during this time, and that Democrats are doing all that we can to make sure New Jersey emerges from this crisis stronger than ever.
Be well,
Saily Avelenda
