Crisis-trained chaplains from the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) are deploying to Charlotte County to let them know there is hope after heartbreak caused by Hurricane Milton, which ravaged the west coast of Florida late Wednesday night.
Florida deployments that began after Hurricane Helene in Perry and Tampa Bay will also continue—in the midst of additional damage from Milton.
“Words can’t describe the devastation that we’re seeing in Florida,” said Josh Holland, international director of BG-RRT. “This storm has left a sea of heartbreak in its wake.”
