I'll keep this short because this is urgent, friend:
Right now, only about a handful of states prohibit people from carrying guns – either openly or concealed – at polling places.
That means that if we don't take action now, millions of people – from voters to poll workers – could be showing up on Nov. 5 to polling places where they will have to worry about whether they are at risk of violence or intimidation.
Everyone deserves to participate in our democracy free from the fear of political violence – and right now, that freedom is in jeopardy.
We're living in a nation with more guns than people, where almost HALF of voters say they are fearful for their safety at polling places and of a shooting on Election Day. It's clear, friend: Guns and voting don’t mix!
