Polls show seven states in the presidential election are within 2 percent.

If Democrats lose any of a number of toss-up Senate races, Republicans will take control of the Senate.

And control of the House will come down to a handful of races that could go either way.

Here's the truth:

The outcome of this election is not something we can afford to just sit back and witness -- to just wait and see what happens.

This is crunch time, and everyone who cares has a role to play. For some, that will be volunteering. For others, you'll bring a bunch of friends to the polls.
