My team and I recently took an extended tour of the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas. We went there to document the truth and confront the flagrant lies being spread about migrants and asylum seekers.

Lies spread by BOTH Republicans and Democrats.

<[link removed]>We’ve been locked in this ghoulish ratchet cycle for decades. Republicans keep dreaming up more and more violent, dehumanizing policies against immigrants – and Democrats race to embrace these policies as “bipartisan solutions” to the “immigration crisis.”

So the Republicans veer even further to the right. And the Democrats keep following them down the trail.

Kamala Harris has chosen to make a right-wing border bill one of the central – frankly, one of the only – priorities of her campaign.

She’s boasted that she will sign this deeply immoral bill into law as soon as she is president. She’s bragged about plans to double the number of border patrol agents and to militarize our border crossings.

Harris continuously repeats Trump’s malicious lies about migrants and drug trafficking...

She continuously repeats Republican fantasies about a massive influx of migrant crossings...

The hard fact is that apart from a distaste for certain slogans like “mass deportations,” there is no functional difference between Democratic and Republican policies on immigration.

Our administration will end our nation’s countless wars, military interventions, and covert operations that destabilize nations and turn millions of people into refugees.

We will vastly reduce climate migration through an emergency Green New Deal and a rapid transition off of fossil fuels.

We will end the senseless, wasteful, failed War on Drugs and disempower the cartels.

We will grant amnesty to ALL undocumented persons and implement a rapid path to citizenship to end the emotional anguish and bureaucratic morass of having millions of Americans trapped in legal limbo.

We will ensure that immigration courts have the proper resources needed to swiftly process asylum cases and eliminate the strain on border communities impacted by long waits.

Indisputably, there ARE problems with our immigration system. But those problems are entirely self-inflicted and can be fixed. Our campaign is the ONLY one with a comprehensive, human-centered plan to do so.

Election Day is only 25 days away. There are still millions of people who are disengaged and unwilling to vote for Trump OR Harris, knowing that neither represents their priorities. We can inspire them to vote Green, but we need your help to reach them and time is running short. <[link removed]>
