John,
The past few months in New York City haven’t quite been a walk through the ballpark. Between Mayor Adams’ indictment and allegations of corruption swirling City Hall to the upcoming high-stakes presidential election, New Yorkers have had a lot on our minds.
But despite the high-stakes moment we’re in, one where trust in City Hall droops by the day, the homegrown energy around our sports teams is energizing the city in an important way.
Let’s hear it for the Mets, the Yankees, and the Liberty!
It’s great to see these three teams all playing in the postseason this year. And it’s even better to be reminded just how special it is when New Yorkers show up to root for our city.
No matter your political affiliation, it’s fun for us to all cheer on the same team. Because teamwork, passion, and spirit are always a slam dunk.
John, I want to know: Which New York City team are you rooting for most right now — the Mets, the Yankees, or the Liberty?
We don’t know what’s going to happen in the upcoming months, but one thing is for certain. Whether your eyes are on Barclays, Citi Field, or Yankee Stadium right now, I’m running for Mayor to deliver bold, experienced leadership for you, John.
Thanks, and go team!
Brad
P.S. If you’re able, please consider "pitching" in a couple bucks to help my campaign hit a grand slam ahead of our mid-month fundraising deadline.
