Alabama voter suppression law will be blocked for election

  • Last month, an Alabama judge partially blocked it for the 2024 election, and Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall (R) appealed the decision to the 11th Circuit. Litigation is ongoing.

  • Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger (R) called the lawsuit a “last-minute effort to push false claims about Georgia’s voting system and cast doubt on the upcoming presidential election.”
