At a recent event held by the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Katie highlighted that our state is home to over 100,000 Hispanic-owned small businesses. She also shared that since relaunching the Greater Arizona Economic Authority, $5 million has been devoted to support microbusinesses across the state.

Nearly 60% of Latinos have Type O blood, which is vital for blood donations. This is because Type O positive is the most common blood type and Type O negative can be universally donated. That’s why during Hispanic Heritage Month, Katie encouraged Arizonans, especially Latino Arizonans, to give blood to support their community with an invaluable contribution.
