Ted Cruz vs. Colin Allred On the Issues

My Texas friend, many polls and reporting suggest that the Ted Cruz and Colin Allred U.S. Senate race is tied 44 to 44. So yes, Ted Cruz could lose this race. Democrats haven’t won statewide in Texas since 1994, but they are dumping tons of money into Texas to help Allred win and to flood Texas with an extreme leftist agenda. That’s why it’s so important that Texas Values Action has endorsed Ted Cruz for U.S. Senate re-election.

Colin Allred is a radical who does not represent Texas voters! Allred has a clear record of opposing faith, family, and freedom in Congress. As a Congressman, Allred refused to protect women’s sports, has been vocally opposed to Texas’ laws, which protect children from harmful gender mutilation procedures and surgeries, and voted against basic election integrity legislation that would ensure only U.S. citizens vote in U.S. elections!

That’s not all! Colin Allred is also on record calling the President Trump border wall racist and even says that his generation will “tear it down!” Colin Allred voted against the Born Alive Protection Act, which would ensure babies who survive failed abortions are given proper medical care. However, Allred is in favor of using your tax money to pay for “sex change” operations and “gender affirming care” for members of the United States Military who think they can change their sex! Allred, along with some of the most leftist members of Congress, wrote a letter to the House and Senate Armed Services Committees explaining that, by not paying for these services, they were impacting military readiness!

Colin Allred is out of touch with Texas and dangerous! Texas Values Action has endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for U.S. Senate re-election! WOMEN'S SPORTS
Colin Allred voted against the Protection of Women and Girls Sports Act in Congress, which would ensure women and girls have equal and safe opportunities to participate in athletics and that men cannot compete in women’s sports. However, Senator Cruz cosponsored legislation in the Senate to protect women and girls' opportunities and ensure men cannot compete in women’s sports. “In light of the recent push by Democrats to ignore biological science, I am proud to cosponsor this bill to protect women and girls' right to play sports on their own terms, without fear of being forced to compete against biological men. Sadly, this commonsense legislation will likely be opposed by my colleagues on the other side of the aisle. Regardless of political correctness, Congress should support fair athletic competition and opportunity for girls and boys alike,” says Senator Cruz.

TEXAS GENDER MUTILATION BAN FOR MINORS
Colin Allred opposes Texas laws like SB 14, protecting children from harmful gender mutilation procedures and surgeries. Allred had this to say about Texas’ laws: “These attacks are particularly harmful to transgender kids and their families who just want to live their lives free from interference and intimidation.”

TAXPAYER MONEY FOR "SEX CHANGE" SURGERIES 
Colin Allred supports using taxpayer money to pay for “sex change” surgeries for the U.S. Military. He signed onto a letter to be sent to both the House and Senate Armed Services Committees detailing how taxpayer money should be used to provide “gender affirming care” for members of the U.S. Military.

Despite his current lip service to the border issue, Allred has opposed President Trump border wall policies. He even called these policies racist during his run for Congress.  Allred said, “If they build that racist wall, my generation is the one that will tear it down.”

Colin Allred voted against the Born Alive Protection Act, which would ensure babies who survive failed abortions are given proper medical care. This legislation would provide basic rights to babies born alive. However, Allred is so radical, that he doesn’t support it.
